1 hank of 22-24 "C" Tubed Sheep Casing for $28.95 I looked at the site, but it seems you have to buy a whole bucket of hanks to get that price. Am I getting it wrong? He called yesterday and told me the price of sheep are through the roof. The price has gone up since I posted. It's now $39.00 per h...

Thanks Jim. I was looking through the recipes and didn't pay attention to the top of the list.
I've made chorizo links once before and I think I put them in 32-35mm hog casings.
I usually bulk pack into 1# plastic bags.

Jim, I have the tube smoker. It will generate heat. If you don't ask, I won't tell you about my 25 pounds of cheese.
The trays, both dust and pellets, work well and don't generate much heat. My next purchase.
I'll keep an eye out for your cabinet build. Good luck.

This one is propane, but you get the idea. AND you don't need all that fancy stuff that went into t...

Sheep Casing questions. I have looked and found them ranging from $13 to $50. Where are you getting yours? From my checking different sites, I have found that sheep casings come in different grades/ratings. "E" is for emulsified like hot dogs and "C" is for a course grind, like we are making here. I...
