Just a cheerful update On Nancy and her oral surgery

It has been about a week and a half since I said that Nancy had a cancerous lesion removed from the base of her tongue. She has weathered the storm like a trooper and started complaining about being hungry by Monday after surgery on Thursday. She had a bowl of split pea soup. Tonight when she returned from a meeting at church she asked for a fried egg and some bacon. We will know more when we see her Doctor on Wednesday.
Thank you for all of your thoughts.

Hi Ross,

I hope the update from your wife's doctor will be all positive.
And with you taking care of her post surgery, she is in the best hands at home.

Ross, Glad to hear Nancy is doing well. I was suprized today when my wife told me that someone on her forum told her that I should look at this site! She said his name is Ross. I told her that I knew a Ross. It truly is a small world. Again hope Nancy continues to improve.

I've been in touch with "RongWay" by PM. He tells me that Nancy is being tended by their loving son. Nancy even went to church on Sunday. So... my question is... Nancy, do you want to throw over that ol' duffer and hop on the back of my Harley? I'll even let you ride my pony and you can have ice cream every day too!

Best Wishes,

I think that the homemade bacon was the key. She was nibbling the fried bacon fat by the end of the third day. Couldn't chew the lean but could enjoy the taste.
This time tomorrow we will know a whole lot more.
How far do you live from Summerville? My sister and her husband have a little farm there and could probably be convinced to raise a couple of pigs on shares.
