Has anyone had experience using Bactoferm B-LC-007 vs Bactoferm T-SPX? From its description it appears to be a more modern or updated product. It states it prevents the grow of Listeria where as T-SPX doesn`t. Anyone use this product?

Yes I use it a lot. Its the only culture I use nowadays in fact.

Others more expert than me can comment on the exact differences with T-SPX - but my understanding is that there is no real downside to 007.

If you use the search feature above and type in B-LC-007 there are many discussions and recipes using that culture

I originally used the T-SPX, although I switched to 007 just to see if it affected the flavor. I`ve been using 007 for the last year and have no reason to go back to T-SPX. I`m not exactly sure whether the flavor was affected, but I do like the results I am getting from the 007. Nothing else has changed in the process or equipment other than the 007

I`ll be trying it out myself shortly.
