Using meat grinder to crush ice?
Using meat grinder to crush ice?
Might be a goofy question, but will a meat grinder crush ice with damaging it or making the blades dull? Unfortunately, I currently don't have a fridge with a crusher attachement and will be needing a batch for emulsifying. I have a Lem Big Bite #12.

Yes, such a blender is much better than an immersion blender. The smoothie function breaks all the ice cubes in a minute, and I only need to press a button. It is also easy to clean, and I usually use its own self-cleaning program.Bob K wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2015 12:18You can also check for an ice crusher

Not sure about ice but don't run whole kernel corn through a grinder or if you do whatever you do don't stop the grinder and start it back up. It'll grind corn just fine while its running but the sudden start will snap your blade in an instant.
