Happy Birthday Redzed,
You are a wonderful contributor to this forum. I love the way you have made so many of our birthdays special, and I hope you have a really fantastic day! A nice glass or five of red and some of those lovely chanterelles .
Have an amazing birthday!
Warm wishes Ursula

Yaaaa Hoooo! Today is Snagman's AND Redzed's birthdays! Happy Birthday gentlemen! Tell me something boys... Are you getting wiser as you get older? Do you find yourselves growing less hair on your head and more in your ears? Isn't getting older the pits? We get more aches and pains in our joints! Why do we celebrate it? Enquiring minds want to know! My advice to you birthday boys is, "Forget the heatlth food... you need all the preservatives you can get!" Oh and yes, if you fall down, just tell people you are looking for something. Yup fellas, time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician. The way I figure it, there are four stages of life:

1) You believe in Santa Claus.
2) You don't believe in Santa Claus.
3) You are Santa Claus.
4) You look like Santa Claus.

Happy Birthday fellas!

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

Hey, thanks sausage gang. You guys are great! Where else would I go to discuss sausage? That is why I hang out here. My friends and family love to each what I make but no one is interested in the provenance, production process, or even ingredients of the sausages I make.

BTW, I spent most of my birthday making sausage! Smoked a batch of Kiełbasa swojska and started fermenting salami finnochiona.

Best wishes and fine sausages to you all. May smoke be with you!

Hey Bob and Ray, thanks for the birthday wishes. I'm really enjoying my time today. Nothing in the smoker and nothing in a brine. Went to one of those "Famous" restaurants for lunch! All in all, a great day.

Thanks everyone, I'm humbled. Had a great day.

Chris. I'm game for "one hundred"; hard to believe that the first sixty went so fast. Thanks for all your help lately. I do appreciate it.

Ursula, I did enjoy "glorious California sun" all day! But, I did it in Minnesota; near the center of the country, on the north end. I really enjoyed your spring pictures awhile back; wish I had a green thumb like that.

1952 was truly a "Great Year".

Happy birthday Grasshopper! You should be getting right around the perfect age to snatch that pebble out of Master Po's hand, then it'll be time for you to leave. Where will you go? RAY
