I got my wife a Motorola Xoom tablet for Christmas and she (we) love it. We used to keep a laptop in the living room to surf the internet. But now, the tablet is our internet surfer. It's an Android-based system and I was still able to install a print app to allow me to print to our network printer ...

Moisture and steel are a good combination for rust. Also, make sure the wood is not sitting on the bottom of the firebox -- there s...

Ross, there are several of us that have built this type of smoker. I think a few of them have done the fire brick to help prevent the issues I've had. Here's a link to pictures of my smoker build. It's a clone of a Stumps gravity fed smoker. http://pix.kg/p/904201182507%3A1759639724/scl As you can see, this smoker has gone through some changes - started on pneumatic casters, then a small trailer to its current home on a 4 x 8 trailer with a roof. ...

I was smoking with pretty fresh maple wood which had a lot of moisture and the chamber with the meat has fairly thin, uninsulated metal panels with a large surface area for the moisture to condense on. That might be another cause of the additional moisture in the cook chamber -- the "green" wood th...

Thanks Chuckwagon for the "welcome" and the sooner state trivia. I didn't know I was going to get this much knowledge here already. I was just hoping to get some information on hot to make some sausage and stuff. And look what other things I've already learned  Looking forward to getting to kno...
