Dick your Bacon looks great. Your Discus are great looking also. I always wanted them. I had a African Cichlid tank and really enjoyed them. I thought about getting back into it especially cause I got two little kids that would really enjoy them.

I was looking for some high temperature tape to seal off some of the areas that have a draft in my smoker. Does anyone know of a tape that is rated for a high heat food application

Hey El Ducko, what did you think of the links? Did you smoke them? I just love Texas Smokey links I always eat too many cause they are so addicting. I used wood chips I bought at Menards that were from Jack Daniels oak whiskey barrels. I really liked the smoke flavor

Ok I tried some summer sausage and Landjäger a local butcher shop made. The homemade stuff I make from recipes on this forum is better. Why is that? The butcher goes through the same process we do. Pork Butt Question?

At my local grocery store they have pork shoulder on sale for $ .99 a pound. I am going today to get some but I was wondering if I should still purchase it if it is previously frozen? Will it be ok to make summer sausage or brats?
