Now THAT's the best part. Looking forward to finishing the smoking process and beginning the eating process. Thanks for the csabaii recipe, Gus. Otherwise, we never would have known! (Now, if I can just develop the patience to wait...)

I still think that we have 2 hands, to be able to hold 2 big csabaies/gyulaies/fresh-baked sausages/salamis (cold) at the same time, taking bites from both, yes of course alternately.

Mr. el Ducko.

Would you like some reeeeeaaal goooood hungarian bean soup recipe ? (yes with sausages....)
If yes, you'll have to wait for it, because today I'm so busy, I don't have time to sneeze.
I worked for 62 years, sometimes 16 ours a day, for years without 1 day off, I put off things, thinking I'll have time for those when I'm retired. My wife was right, she tout I'm retarded....
So is everybody else, who think money is one of the most important thing in life.....
Now I don't have time to work, because I have to go to fish.....
As Paul Harvey said, good day.

Yes sir. You can buy sausages with money, but can you buy appetite ?

About thirty years ago a friend said to me , "Ross, you and Nancy have figured it out. You can make a living without working all of the time." I like to think that I made good use of those times when I wasn't trying to make a dollar by learning how to live without spending those dollars.
Many times when I was buying sausage before I started making it I would remove the casings and use it for fillings for stuffed peppers and cabbage. Now I make my own sausage at a fraction of the cost of purchased sausage because I have the time for being able.

Ross, I have poor relatives, like my grand kids.
I was the one who was capable to make big money, I used to buy cars for presents, some of them brand new. I'm very happy I did.
Me ?
I'm satisfied with very little. All I ever wanted is just a little more than I can spend....

Thank you Ross.
You can make it very easily, you won't be sorry for it.
But now I have to run to the dentist, just regular checkup.

Good luck at the dentist. After you pay for the dentist, you will only have enough money left to make soup. (He will have enough to make a car or boat or swimming pool payment!)

...so perhaps you can translate for us and we can all enjoy it. ...looks very good. I think you add many more vegetables to your bean soup than we do. (...and, of course, paprika!) That will make it great.

Did all that money finance any university educations?

Yes it did. It was all the way privet school for my son, besides also paying for public one.
But my doughtier got married instead.

Gulyás,, my old Grandad used to say you can lead a horse to water but making it drink takes two good hands-one to hold his head under water and one to suck on his ah, well-his other end! I can only assume that the "Top Hand" would have wet boots.

Grandad had lots of rather funny sayings.

Gulyás-There were many times, when I was a child, that I would have argued that point, but as I have grown older and no longer have access to the wisdom that my Grandfather so willing shared, I believe he knew more than I can ever learn. He brought a family of 8 children and my grandmother from Missouri to Idaho in a covered wagon and homesteaded a section of land about 20 miles from where I sit now. I go to his homestead regularly hoping some of his wisdom is still there for those willing to learn.
