Low rpm bowl cutter

Post by bbbao » Wed Feb 06, 2019 18:19

Hi, nooby here. I'm seriously considering purchasing this relatively cheap bowl cutter.

KWS BC-400
https://www.kitchenwarestation.com/wp-c ... Manual.pdf

But the thing that concerns me is that it has relatively low rpm (1460rpm) and it has just two blades.
Would this thing powerful enough to make emulsified sausages? Any ideas? Thank you.

Welcome to the forum bbbao !

You should have plenty of power with 1/2 HP for smaller batches and they all have just 2 cutting blades......not sure on the RPM most Hobart's run in the 1700 range

Thank you, Bob. Well, it's just 200~250 rpm difference and maybe it won't be a big problem.. I guess? Anyway, thank you.
