Anybody know where I can get a Pelmeni mold in North America. These are a Russian type of perogi mold.

When I sort for items in North America, I get, "Your search returned 0 items."

If you don't want to order one from overseas (the Russian steel mold is great!), you might try looking in Eastern European groceries. Our local Eastern European grocery and deli carries them, but doesn't sell them on-line or even have an on-line presence, so they are available in North America, but may not be available on-line.

An alternative to consider would be a ravioli press. The 36-ravioli square press makes small, square raviolis that are about 1.25" edge-to-edge and only slightly larger than what a pelmeni press would make. I realize they are not the right shape, but round, square, or hex, a dumpling that size would still be very close to the 2+cm pelmeni. Square and round ravioli presses are available all over North America, and from a variety of on-line sources.

You can also search for Pierogi Molds which are similar to what you are looking for! Traditionally they are larger in size, to the Russian type you referred to.
