Homemade Sausage Making

I live in British Columbia, Canada and I am starting to gather component to make my Curing Chamber. I was wondering what make and model of de-humidifier you use in your Curing Chambers. Which ones you recommend and ones you would stay away from.

I have watched a youtube video about de-humidifiers that are not auto on and when the inkbird controller cuts power to the unit shuts off. Has anybody run into this problem?

I use this one and have had no issues:

It was probably made in the same Chinese factory as the Eva-Dry, as they're almost identical.

If you see a rocker switch, rather than an on/off button, it's a pretty safe bet that it will be auto-on.

I have what looks like the same one. As long as the switch is on it will cut in when it gets power. I control mine with an Inkbird controller. When I load a lot of product and there is an excess of humidity in the chamber, my intake and exhaust fans are also connected to the same controller and run for as long as the dehumidifier. Once the humidity stabilizes I control the fans with the Alexa App with a Costco Plug. Right now the fans come on for 5 minutes every 2 hours.
