Smoked salmon and fresh bread. Image
We had the coffee/social hour after church and about 30 people brought a plate, platter or bowl of food. The gang devoured it like a swarm of locusts. One pound of salmon and three small loaves of bread were well received with no leftovers.

Ross,
I like what I see, I definitely will be smoking salmon shortly "a la Ross" as a trial.
Cheers,
Jan.

Nice presentation Ross. I would have been one of those locusts hovering around that plate had I been there! The only thing that I would have done differently is that I would have sprinkled the canapes with finely chopped red onion.

Nice goin' pal! What did your Bishop say about them? Any other remarks made about them?

Best Wishes,

several people complimented me about the quality. I am not sure that Bishop Joe had any. I may be asked by a few folk to custom smoke some for them.

How did you get such a wonderful texture, Ross? I just wanted to reach into my computer and grab one of those lovely morsels.

In the fish I was just farmed Atlantic salmon. In the bread it was rolled thin and flat ,then rolled as a log.
