Two weeks to chase one critter? You'd better get a faster hoss and a new lasooo!
Good luck pal, I hope you get one that is big as a house!
Clean your grinder and eat your broccoli!
Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

Good luck to you MATE. I am jealous as hell. Maybe I should try some kangaroo leg meat as a substitute for beef.
Regards,
Jan.

What is done with the hide?

by Big Guy
The hide is left in the bush for the bears and wolves, along with the gut pile and bones.

We were roughing it and barely had enough to eat and drink. ;D
a few grouse breasts for the cook
the cook taking a well deserved drink, while working at the stove
the bad food we had to eat
grouse and walleye
getting ready to chow down.
We did manage to survive the two weeks of hard times, lucky we brought enough snake bite medicine with us. ::)

Nothing like hunting camp chow, few cold ones and time away from real life. Hope you have ear plugs for the snoring. Don't get any better than that. Carry on and thanks for the pics.

Even that isn't as scary as having the MOOSE stareing at you and lowering his head for a charge!
