Fruit Salami

Hi, have anybody ever added some fruit like raisins to their salami mix? I am aiming to create a more fruity salami, it might be very interesting.

The French add fruit all the time. As long as it was fresh when picked and then dried...free of mold and blemishes, should be fine.

dried is best....FWIW...
