I pulled four chicken thighs from the freezer today and wanted a different taste so I prepared a marinade based on the seasonings for fresh Polish sausage. I use some chardonnay instead of the water normally called for in the mix and allowed them about 4 hours after they had thawed before I roasted them in the marinade. It is a valid method and worth trying with other sausage seasoning schedules.
The seasoning mix was the same quantities as for a sausage mix.
