Cajun Chili

Post by Keymaster » Sat Jan 14, 2012 02:59

My friend from Illinois sent me some Cajun Chili seasoning a few months ago and I finally had a chance to make it last Sunday. Did the basics by frying the hamburger and adding onions , green peppers and 2 cloves of garlic. Then I added Tomato sauce and about a third package of the Soileaus chili seasoning.

I can tell you one thing or two, The instructions call out to use the entire package for 1.5 gallons of chili. USE ONLYONE THIRD OF THAT PACKAGE!!! This was excellent chili and had a nice heat to it that brought bullets of sweat to my forehead but was palletely pleasing and no Heartburn.

You shouldn't have to suffer when you eat. I like spicy but I do have my limits.
